Each lesson offers a large tracing area where students can use their finger or stylus for handwriting practice. Additional features include audio playback of instructions or responses, recording functionalities for both teachers and students, reset options, and three tracing modes: outlined arrows, solid lines without prompts, and dotted guides.

Teacher tracings allow for recorded exemplars for each character or word that can be replayed upon selection. Educators can also record audio instructions or phonetic cues corresponding to each tracing. This feature supports regional pronunciation variations and personalized instruction methods.

Tracing accuracy can be adjusted to easy, medium, or hard levels. Based on performance, students receive half or full stars as rewards. The system utilizes default teacher tracings or user-customized examples as benchmarks for assessment—offering comprehensive adaptability for left-handed writers or various stroke techniques.

The Words activity section facilitates reading, writing, pronunciation, and spelling practice using teacher- or parent-created words. The Numbers section features customizable images illustrating quantities matching numerical concepts. The Lowercase and Uppercase sections also support image and sound customization options.

Educational content—lessons, profiles, and settings—can be created, stored securely, exported, and shared at the discretion of the instructor or parent. The application includes full import/export capabilities for seamless data management.

To ensure focused learning environments, the app can be locked into a restricted mode using a four-digit PIN. In this mode, functions such as lesson creation/deletion and profile adjustments are disabled. Additional restrictions include hiding external links on the home page. Internal motivational prompts are available but can be deactivated or personalized within settings.
